The UN Security Council is meeting on Friday, October 5, 2007, at 11:00am:
United Nations Special Envoy to Myanmar Ibrahim Gambari is scheduled to brief the Security Council on Friday about his recent trip to the country. The meeting is supposed to be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Several countries are trying to close the meeting, concerned about what Mr. Gambari might have to say. KEEP THIS ISSUE GOING! Show your support for the Burmese people, and plan to attend!
The Visitors Entrance to the United Nations headquarters is located on 1st avenue, between 45th and 46th streets.
